Longtime teacher Beverly Adams Mosher passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2006, at her son Paul's home in Sutton, Vt., at the age of 78.

Bev was born in Rutland, Vt., on Aug. 3, 1928, the daughter of Paul and Helen Adams. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 1950 and attended Castleton State College 1952-53. In Vermont she taught school in the Canaan, Vergennes and Charlotte school systems, and in New Hampshire in Charlestown and Hillsboro school systems.

In 1979, she was predeceased by her husband, Chandler B. Mosher II.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Mosher and his wife Terry of Sutton (1116 Simpson Hill Rd. 05867), Leigh Mosher and his wife Yong of Aurora, Colo., and Darin Mosher and his wife Margaret of Fredericksburg, Va.; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Her cremains will be interred in the family cemetery in Castleton, Vt.

Sayles Funeral Home of St. Johnsbury is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
