GARVEY: Daniel J. "DJ," 76, of Pudding Hill, Lyndon, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Johnsbury.

He was born June 8, 1925, in Enfield, Conn., the son of Daniel A. and Louise (Fortier) Garvey.

Dan was a waste water treatment plant operator, working in Michigan and later operating the plant in Lyndon for several years. He also worked as a consulting engineer. He was a member of the Detroit Engineering Society.

He is survived by his wife, Marion W. Garvey of Lyndon; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk, Conn.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory may be directed to Lyndon Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 401, Lyndonville, VT 05851.

Arrangements are by Guibord Funeral Home, located on the corner of Main and Center streets, Lyndonville.
