Heather Larocque - Obituary

Heather Larocque, 29, of Graniteville, Vt., passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on October 4, 1989, to Trina (Beattie) Barrett and Forrest Shangraw. She was raised and educated in the town of Barnet and graduated from Blue Mountain Union. Heather enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and going to concerts. She liked to go camping and loved spending time with her two children and her family.

Heather is survived by her two sons: Bentley Porman and Kylen Fitzgerald; her mother: Trina Barrett of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; her fiancé: Kody Fitzgerald of Granitville, Vt.; a brother: Ryan E. Kimball of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; two sisters: Nicole R. Larocque of Lyndonville, Vt., and Rebecca L. Shangraw of Barnet, Vt.; two beautiful nieces: Aria and Nevaeh Kimball; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her adopted father: Forrest Shangraw; paternal grandparents: Donald and Mona Larocque; Maternal grandmother: Jean Beattie; and her adoptive grandparents: Jack and Betty Shangraw.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.

It is so very sad that Heather's father Rick Larocque was not mentioned in this obituary for his daughter. He loved her dearly and will sorely miss her.
