HOWARD: Albert W., 85, of St. Johnsbury, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 12, 1916, in Orange, N.J., the son of Albert and Florence (Stark) Howard.

Albert married Florence Jarlett Bodo. He was a salesman for Sears and Roebuck Co. in St. Johnsbury from 1954 until he joined 3M and Durotest Lights in the 1960s.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, of St. Johnsbury; a step-daughter, Andrea Bodo-Burns of Durham, N.H.; and a sister, Eleanor Hennion of Morris Plains, N.J.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Sayles Funeral Home, St. Johnsbury.
