Kim James Nadeau Obituary

Kim James Nadeau, 62, of Troy, N.H., and formerly Keene and Chesterfield, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on Jan. 23, 2019, after lengthy period of illness.

He was born on April 5, 1956, in Keene, N.H., the son of Robert and Mildred (Nurse) Nadeau. He attended area school and graduated from Keene High School. He made a career, working for himself, as a carpenter.

Kim was an outdoorsman and enjoyed all things nature – hunting, fishing, and hiking. In his earlier years he could be found enjoying the open road on his motorcycle. More recently he had taken up coin collecting. He is fondly remembered for his funny wit and likeable personality. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and put other’s needs before his own. Kim was an exceptional grandfather and stayed active in his grandchildren’s lives.

Kim will be deeply missed by his daughters: Jamie Nadeau and her fiancé Donald Kraus of Swanzey and Brianne Nadeau of Troy; step-daughters: Stephanie Faulkner and her husband Cliff of Fitzwilliam and Alyssa Hale of Troy; grandchildren: Dominic and Damien; father: Robert Nadeau and his significant other Kathy McCallum of Swanzey; siblings: Jay Nadeau of Hinsdale and Sandra Scott of South Carolina; as well as many extended family members and very close friends.

He was predeceased by his mother Mildred Nadeau.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, N.H. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
