Madeline Caswell

Madeline Holmes Caswell was born Jan. 12, 1935 in Stratford, Conn., daughter of Marjorie S. and J. Wendell Holmes.

She married Warren I. Caswell on June 30, 1956. They had four children and lived in Bethlehem, N.H. for 51 years.

Surviving daughters are Nancy C. Bisson and husband Joe of Littleton, N.H.; Priscilla C. Hill of Williamstown, N.J.; son Maurice W. Caswell and wife Mary of Dalzelle, S.C. Sister Sabra Burritt of Stratford, Conn. Six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and son Scott W. Caswell (Oct. 19, 1987). Sisters Marjorie Wilkes and Carolyn Trible.

A celebration of her life and graveside service for the immediate family will be held at the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Littleton Senior Center, Durrell Methodist Church, North Country Home Health or one’s other choice.
