Mrs. Corinne M. (Loring) Surette of Newark, Vt., formerly of Lynn, Mass., died Thursday, April 6, 2006, in her home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Clifton Surette.

Born in Lynn, daughter of the late William and Elsie (MacQueen) Loring, she was raised in Lynn and attended Lynn public schools as well as Lynn English High School.

Prior to her retirement in 1993, she worked as a nurse's aide in Union Hospital of Lynn.

She leaves four children, Steven Surette, Lee Surette, Susan and Steve White, all of Lynn, and Sandra Surette of Vermont; one sister, Gladys Renaghan of Duxbury; four grandchildren, Jennifer O'Brien, Katie Surette, and James and William O'Meara; one great-grandchild, Carol Ann O'Brien; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marjorie Reid and Marlene Tinkham.

Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Funeral service in St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
