Jeremy E. Rowell, 29, West Danville, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license on May 21, 2011, on Depot Street in Lyndonville and was ordered to pay $766 in fines and court surcharges. The state dismissed a charge of leaving the scene of an accident as part of the plea deal.
Michael Garter, 39, St. Johnsbury, pleaded guilty to drunken driving on Dec. 23, 2011, on Route 5 in Lyndon in exchange for a sentence of 1-2 years, all suspended, except for 60 days on the work crew and $301 in fines and court surcharges. The state dismissed a charge of driving under the influence of marijuana as part of the plea deal.
Nikita Shields, 24, Randolph, pleaded no contest to simple assault by dumping a pot of boiling water on Kayla Gourdeau, 20, in Groton on May 2, 2011, in exchange for a 12 month deferred sentence. Shields was also ordered to continue mental health treatment and take prescribed medications as directed. The state dismissed a charge of disorderly conduct as part of the plea deal.
James M. Hollenback, 27, St. Johnsbury, pleaded no contest to simple assault by punching and choking Jeffrey Bragdon in St. Johnsbury on Dec. 3 and admitted two counts of violating probation in exchange for 6 months and one day to 30 months and $141 in court surcharges.
Ricky Goss, 40, Barnet, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct by punching his brother Randy Goss, 40 on January 28 in Barnet in exchange for a sentence of 30- 60 days and $141 in court surcharges.
Sherilynn Cote, 30, Hardwick, pleaded not guilty to two counts of disturbing the peace by phone by sending obscene text messages of herself to her ex-boyfriend Harold Lanphere, 33, on Feb 14, and one count of providing false information to a police officer.
