New Hampshire tourism officials will gather in downtown Littleton on Tuesday to celebrate the start of summer.

Gathering at the Riverwalk Covered Bridge at 11 a.m., the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs and the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development will announce New Hampshire’s summer 2019 visitor forecast. Speakers will discuss tourism’s vital economic role in New Hampshire, while also unveiling the state’s summer marketing campaign.

Joining the event will be Taylor Caswell, Commissioner, New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs, Jeff Cozzens, from Schilling Beer Co., Charyl Reardon, President, White Mountains Attractions Association, New Hampshire legislators and other New Hampshire tourism partners.

Tourism is New Hampshire’s second-largest revenue generator, with the summer travel season drawing the greatest number of visitors of all four seasons.

The Division of Travel and Tourism Development, as part of the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs, works with the state’s seven travel regions to increase visitation, travel and visitor expenditures in order to expand business activity and employment throughout the state.
