Join The Galaxy Bookshop in welcoming Daniel Lusk and Angela Patten for an evening of poetry on Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m.

Lusk and Patten are married writers living in northern Vermont, and each will share work from their recent poetry collections. Daniel Lusk’s The Shower Scene from Hamlet blends stories from the lives of long dead artists with the poet’s own experiences to create unique poetic portraits. Angela Patten’s In Praise of Usefulness applies the writer’s self-deprecating sense of humor to both her native land of Ireland and her current home in America.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 472-5533 or visit for a full schedule of events. The Galaxy Bookshop, located at 41 South Main Street in Hardwick, is a locally owned and independent bookstore celebrating its 29th year in business.
