Balance Bethlehem will celebrate its fifth anniversary at the Christmas in Bethlehem event Saturday with free classes, lots of local vendors offering a variety of products and services, demonstrations and more. The event lasts from 10 a .m. to 4 p.m. Balance Bethlehem is located at 2087 Main St. in Bethlehem, N.H.

Spiral to sit with Jacki Katzman, 10 to 11 a.m.

Awareness to Movement(R) offers your nervous system options for expanding your repertoire of movement to achieve new levels of grace and comfort. The learning can transform your kayak stroke, golf swing, drum riff, or the way you get into and out of bed.

Katzman is a newly-minted Guild Certified Feldenkrais Method(R) Awareness Through Movement(R) Teacher and Practitioner.

Wellness yoga with Tish Webber, 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

This class is designed to be suitable for all fitness levels with a focus on maintenance of good health and/or improvement in existing conditions through breath work, asana, meditation, and relaxation. We will use the breath, movement, meditation, and relaxation techniques to reduce stress, instill a feeling of calm, gain strength, flexibility, and good joint health along with many other benefits.

Webber brings more than 10 years of teaching yoga as well as a background as a Nutritionist and Herbalist to her teachings.

Fit and fierce workout circuit with Laurie Brewer, 1 to 2 p.m.

Join Laurie Brewer for a half hour sampling of her various fit and fierce workout classes. Designed with the typical female “trouble spots” in mind, Fit and Fierce Over 50 is a low impact, calorie burning, total body workout that addresses balance, flexibility, core, cardio and strength.

Laurie Brewer is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a Specialization in Weight Loss and a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

Meditation class: tips to remain mindful during the stressful holiday season with Candace Foster, 2:30 to 3 p.m.

Candace Foster will show you how to stay calm, cool and collected during the holidays with a few mindfulness and meditation exercises. This season, you can take charge and control how you deal with various stressors.
