A CAREER IN SPORTS AND EVENT PLANNING -- Jane Foster, of Newport, earned a bachelor of science degree, cum laude, from the Hospitality College of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. May 24, 2014. Jane completed college in three years while working two jobs and maintaining a 3.6 grade point average the entire time. She will be moving to Breckenridge, Colo. to pursue her career in sports and event planning in the fall. She is a 2011 graduate of North Country Union High School and is the daughter and step-daughter of Lisa Foster and Brian McCrae of Newport.
