Joseph DePalma makes top 10 in State Geo Bee

FINISHES IN TOP 10 -- Joseph DePalma IV, an eighth-grade student at Daisy Bronson Middle School in Littleton, N.H., finished in fifth place at the New Hampshire National Geographic State Bee, held at Keene State College on March 27. Joseph has won the last three annual Daisy Bronson Middle School Geographic Bees and was a top 10 finalist each year during the State Level Competition. He competed for the first time in sixth grade and came in sixth place; in seventh grade he came in third place; and this year, as an eighth grader, he took fifth place. He is the son of Joseph and Jackie DePalma, and his social studies teacher is Frank Lombardi.
