The Littleton Future Business Leaders of America recently returned from the 40th annual State Leadership Conference held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, N.H. Nineteen members competed in 10 events.

Two groups received second place and eight groups received first place. Four of the eight first-place group winners received their awards with distinction -- an honor given by the judges for groups who received above 90 percent for their exceptional performance. Competitive events included Business Presentation, Community Service Project, Digital Design and Production, Digital Video Production, E-Business, Electronic Career Portfolio, Emerging Business Issues, Job Interview, Public Speaking and Web Site Design.

The chapter also brought home several chapter awards including first place for promotion week, local annual business report, and local chapter scrapbook. Littleton FBLA earned second place in the state's overall chapter award and local chapter display.

The members also asked for help from the community with their can tab collection for David's House. The members were able to bring 76 pounds of can tabs with them to the state conference.

Littleton FBLA appreciate the help of the community, businesses, parents and schools. The members are now focused on fundraising for the national conference to be held in San Antonio, Texas in June.
