St. Johnsbury Academy announced the addition of seven new staff members over the summer. Headmaster Tom Lovett said, "We are extremely fortunate to hire such talented people and welcome them into our school community. Some have previous connections to the Academy: Gretchen is the parent of recent Academy alums, and has worked as a substitute teacher here for years; Kendra is a former teacher and language department chair; and Jason is the parent of a current freshman. Some have existing connections to each other: Allie and Ben were recently married, and join the school community as a couple; Lacey joins her husband Jim, a member of the faculty. Adele, while new to our school and joining solo, is also very well suited to our needs and embraces our mission. We look forward to working with the whole group in the years to come."
