The Thaddeus Stevens School will be holding a Spring Auction fundraiser on the evening of April 6 at Lyndon State College, ASAC Room 100. This event is free and open to the public, beginning at 5:30 with a silent auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. The live auction, featuring your host Bob Hansen, kicks off at 7. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the TSS Student Scholarship fund.

More than 100 local businesses and artisans have contributed goods and services to this fundraiser. A few highlights from among the more than 130 items to be auctioned include 4 Disney Park Hopper passes, cords of wood, a family pass to the Lyndon State College pool, Kingdom Trails family season pass, a load of topsoil, and a Hope Chest created in a collaboration between local artisan Jeff Heck and students at the Thaddeus Stevens School.

The Thaddeus Stevens School is a First Amendment School with a curricular emphasis on academic excellence, citizenship and community. The school is in the home stretch of its first school year in Lyndon Center, after relocating from its original home in Peacham. For more information regarding the auction please contact the Thaddeus Stevens School at 626-0370, or visit on Facebook.
