FIRST PLACE WINNER OF JUNIOR DUCK STAMP CONTEST -- Lyndon Institute art students recently participated in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Junior Duck Stamp Art Program and contest. Preparation for the Junior Duck Stamp contest and involvement in the program requires students to study and understand the fundamental principles of anatomy and environmental science. The program also provides an opportunity for students to artistically express their knowledge of the beauty, diversity and interdependence of wildlife. Lyndon Institute junior Nick Aiken captured first place with his rendering of the state's water fowl. He used colored pencils and paper for his award-winning drawing.
