Magdalene Miller gives commencement address at VTC

NURSING GRADUATE DELIVERS STUDENT COMMENCEMENT SPEECH AT VTC -- Magdalene Miller, of St. Johnsbury, a recent graduate of the Vermont Technical College's nursing program, was asked to deliver the student commencement speech to her fellow graduates at the college's 2014 commencement ceremony held in May. Magdalene is the first nursing major to ever have been chosen for this honor at VTC. Selected by the commencement committee, it is a Vermont Tech tradition for a member of the graduating class to give a student address. Magdalene was a student at Lyndon State College site as she worked towards her degree through VTC's nursing program. She is a home-schooled graduate from Savannah, Ga. in 1995 and attended Sol C. Johnson High School, also in Savannah. She is the daughter of Gerald Hashman and Linda Hashman.
