Children's Integrated Services -- Early Intervention program understands that children all grow at their own individual paces. This program answers questions and provides help for families that have questions or concerns about their young child's growth and/or development.
The time from birth to three is an important period for families and caregivers to have accurate information and a good system of support. The team at Children's Integrated Services works with families and the child to determine if he or she is talking, moving and learning like other children their age. The team provides the support and resources needed to help meet a family's goals. Families are central to the lives of children and collaboration is encouraged between families and service providers.
Children's Integrated Services is hosted by Northeast Kingdom Learning Services (NEKLS). NEKLS provides educational services to community members of all ages through an array of programs. These services include supports for infants, toddlers and school-age children, as well as instruction for adults, both young and old, who would like to improve academic and workplace skills or attain a high school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
An open house will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 2-6 p.m. at 101 Main St., Lyndonville. The community is encouraged to come and see the new space and meet the staff. There will be door prizes, refreshments and a free gift for everyone who stops by. For more information visit www.neklsvt.org.
