Sara James, an administrative assistant to the Director of Student Services (special education) Brian Carroll, was honored Aug. 15 at the Caledonia North Supervisory Union's executive board meeting.

Michael Moore made a wooden table and donated it for the second year for the CNSU annual office recognition award.

James was chosen by her peers. The person selected is judged on their willingness to help others no matter the job, is open to ideas and willing to change to make the organization more efficient, and welcomes new learning and challenges. Among the comments her co-workers made about Sara, said the superintendent, were: "shows dedication, innovation and cooperation ... maintains poise and professionalism ... willing to take on any job without hesitation, can-do attitude, a pleasure to work with because of her positive and cheery manner."

In her role, the SAU said, "Ms. James provides assistance to students, parents and staff throughout area towns. Thank you, Sara, for all you do!"
