Fourteen students have been honored by St. Johnsbury Academy's Department of Career and Technical Education as Students of the Second Quarter, recognizing their "commitment to excellence and outstanding performance in their classes."

The honorees include: seniors -- Christian Garcia of St. Johnsbury in Human Services/Public Safety; Brittany Berwick from Barnet, Culinary Arts 2; Chantal O'Hara of St. Johnsbury Center, Automotive Technology 2; Steven Haselton from Groton, Auto Collision Repair & Painting; St. Johnsbury Center resident Ross Labounty, Industrial Electricity; and Max Correia from Bermuda, Built Environment.

Juniors -- Briana Bathalon from Monroe, N.H., Infant and Toddler Development; Barnet resident Gabrielle Willey, Infant and Toddler Development (accelerated); Nicholas Cantin from Guildhall, Culinary Arts 1; St. Johnsbury residents Zachary Taylor, Entrepreneurship, Robert Pennypacker, Automotive Technology 1, and Alison Picanza, Electricity & Electronics; Drew Hovey of Essex Junction, Drafting.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Berwick from Groton, Forestry.
