NEWPORT -- United Christian Academy will hold it's annual benefit Dinner & Auction May 5, beginning at 5 p.m. with a Silent Auction, followed by dinner and a live auction at 6. Call the school or email to purchase your tickets as soon as possible. This is UCA's largest fundraiser.

Donations are still being accepted in support of UCA art teacher Alyssa DeLaBruere's opportunity to attend an art fellowship training to Les Tapies. If you would like to donate to help off set expenses, send contributions to the school -- 65 School St., Newort, VT 05855 -- before April 14.

The next Parent Association meeting will be May 7 at 3 p.m. in the auditorium. All are welcome to attend. Soccer coaches are needed for the fall semester. Applications for 2012-13 are being accepted. Contact Linda Curtis if interested.

Winners of the Chocolate Bar Sale are: first place, Naomi Walker, $100; second place, the Swenson boys, $50; third place, Molly Poginy-Catuogno, $25.
