Apologize to Coach Joyal

To the Editor:

I'm writing in support of the new Varsity Basketball Coach for Lyndon Institute, Phil Joyal.

I found your article in the paper on 10/31/14 to be both slanderous and inappropriate. Furthermore, you wrote the article based upon the complaints of two parents out of the hundreds that have shown support for Phil. It was evident after reading the article that the story was based upon very poorly researched information.

Coach Joyal's record of success speaks for itself. I do believe that a retraction is in place or at the very least a public apology to Coach Joyal.
