Outlook: "We lost seven starters from last season, including four of five defensive starters," Poore stated. "It will be a work in progress to get this team ready. The preseason so far has been good, but we lost a lot of personnel from last season and it will be tough to repeat the seasons we've been having. If we develop quick enough we should have a winning record and hopefully host a first-round playoff game.
"We have a lot of question marks on this team but many have started to be answered quickly. We'll have a strong starting lineup, but our inexperience and youth on the bench will be a work in progress. A good group of hard working players."

Outlook: No matter if they've had numerous returning players or are starting with new players, the once constant over the last 25 years has been coach Trask, and winning. "New keeper, experienced backs, very young up front -- could go either way," he stated.

Players To Watch: Brandon Joy and Adam Atkinson have the potential to be an offensive force within D-IV. Chris Helms' experience between the pipes will be a major key to any success this team has. He is the emotional leader for this group and has done an excellent job working with the underclassmen. On defense, Beau Perras will have to use his size and strength to support Chris Helms. Freshman Chris Guay has had a solid preseason, and will be utilized in many different positions.
Outlook: Coach Mackin comes to Groveton having previously coached Berlin High School's JV hockey team for six years, as well as the Mounties' baseball head coach and varsity assistant coach. "This team is young and inexperienced and will need to be in excellent condition to overcome the current numbers crunch among Groveton athletes," he stated. "The upperclassmen will have to step up and lead the way. This group worked hard for me over the opening two weeks, and I am very eager to see exactly what we have coming."

Players To Watch: What we do this season will be done as a team. We will work together as a unit well this season, with leadership coming from many players, Robinson said.
Season Outlook: "We are a young team with a lot of potential for success," Robinson said. "We will work hard all season long and look to improve every day. The seniors and juniors provide great leadership and experience. It is our goal as a team to be playing our best soccer in late October, but the effort we put in everyday will determine our success in reaching this goal."
