Kid Rock Purchases Middle Finger Sculpture Made by Vermont Man For Nashville Home

Kid Rock is set to install a massive middle finger sculpture on his property near Nashville, TN. WKRN TV reports that the rocker's selection of artwork was inspired by Ted Pelkey of Westford, Vt who installed a wooden sculpture of a middle finger on his property in December.

Pelkey spent approximately $4,000 for the towering wooden finger. He says he erected the gesture on his property because the town won’t let him develop his truck and recycling business there.

After becoming a tourist attraction and viral news reports, the sculpture caught Nashville resident Kid Rock's attention.

"I like your style. Thanks for getting us the info on that middle finger. I gotta have one of those somewhere on my property here in Nashville,” said Rock in a voicemail to Pelkey.

According to WKRN Pekley then contacted the artist and had a second sculpture made for Kid Rock.
