Central Café Freely Shares Before Closing Shop

Their decision to temporarily close prompted them to put remaining perishable items on the street for pedestrians to take for free. Everything was quickly snapped up quickly, they said. Central Cafe decided on Thursday to temporarily close until at least April 15, joining the long list of businesses similarly affected by coronavirus.

But before shutting down, owners Rome Balmes and Robert Larabee decided to give away perishable foodstuffs that would otherwise have gone bad.
