Dalton Fire and Rescue Department Chief Ron Sheltry has been suspended without pay, stemming from a complaint by a Dalton resident.

Sheltry, who a decade ago founded Dalton Fire and Rescue, was suspended during the June 3 Dalton Board of Selectmen’s meeting, in a 2-0 vote by board Chairman Jo Beth Dudley and Selectman Anna Gilbody.
