A Littleton man will serve up to five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to participating in a drug trafficking conspiracy to distribute the deadly opioid fentanyl.

During an ongoing drug trafficking investigation that included wiretaps of cell phones, investigators learned that Keith Baker Jr., 24, intended to travel from New Hampshire to a location in Massachusetts on April 8, 2018, to purchase fentanyl and then distribute it, representatives of the office of U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said Wednesday in a statement announcing Baker’s sentencing.
