A woman from Lyndon Center was ordered by a Caledonia Superior Court judge on Monday to have no contact with her 1-year-old son unless the visit is supervised by the Department of Children and Families.

Sierra Sawyer, 20, faces a charge of child cruelty for allegedly giving the baby alcohol. She pleaded not guilty to the charge.

An investigation conducted by Trooper Christopher Pilner determined Sawyer put Twisted Tea, an alcoholic beverage, into a cup that she gave to the baby.
