LYNDONVILLE — The Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) has an unpaid tax bill — the first it has ever been sent by the Town of Lyndon — and is continuing to try and strike a host town agreement in lieu of taxes.

“NEKWMD currently does have an outstanding tax bill which has not been paid,” said Lyndon Municipal Administrator Justin Smith on Monday.
