COLUMBIA — One person was taken into custody without incident following a construction site shooting.

New Hampshire State Police apprehended 25-year-old Aron Theriault of Columbia after he allegedly shot a handgun at two people doing home construction on Meriden Hill on Wednesday morning, according to a press release.

Police responded and found Theriault at a seasonal camp on Washburn Road.

He is being evaluated and treated ad Upper Connecticut Valley Regional Hospital and charges are expected, according to state police.

NHSP were assisted by N.H. Fish and Game, U.S. Border Patrol and the Colebrook Police Department.
