Elizabeth Pappalardo, 24, of St. Johnsbury, was taken into custody on May 24 on Bay Street on an active federal warrant. She was transported to NERCF where police said she’ll remain until transport to the district court in Burlington for arraignment.
VSP — ST. JOHNSBURY
Timothy Jerry, 38, of Bradford, escaped with minor injuries from a May 23 motorcycle crash on I-91 South. The 9:01 a.m. crash occurred when Jerry said he swerved to avoid a turkey in the road. He was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for minor injuries. The motorcycle was totaled.

Adrian Bueno Bodas, 17, of Walpole, N.H., escaped injury after falling asleep at the wheel on May 23 on I-91 in Bradford. A large section of the guardrail was damaged, however, and the vehicle was totaled. VSP was assisted at the scene by the Bradford Fire Department.
HARDWICK POLICE
A series of two-vehicle accidents kept the PD busy last week. None resulted in injuries.
In a May 19 two-vehicle crash on Route 15 and Industrial Park, police said a 2013 Dodge operated by Khristin Brown, 34, of Peacham, pulled out of the Tops Market parking lot and hit the driver’s side rear quarter panel of a 2023 Freightliner school bus operated by Matthew Goldrick, 73, of Danville. Both vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage.

Minor damage to both vehicles resulted from a May 20 accident at the intersection of Route 15 and Junction Road. A vehicle driven by Julie Holcomb-Gravel, 48, was stopped to turn onto Junction Road when it was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Dennis Bishop, 51, of Albany.

Another two-vehicle crash on May 21 at 9 Mill Street in Hardwick resulted in major damage to both vehicles but no injuries. Police said Daniel Abbott, 30, of Cabot, hit a parked 2012 Honda owned by Elizabeth Cate, 44, of Hardwick. Police say Abbott’s license was suspended, and he was issued a ticket. Erin Gibbs, 44, of Cabot, was a passenger in Abbott’s vehicle and tried to say she was the operator. Witnesses on the scene stated Abbott was driving, and when confronted, admitted to being the operator.

Police received a May 14 report that someone had backed into a 2012 Toyota Camry owned by Peter Dealmeada, 57, of Cabot at Tops Market on Route 15, causing minor damage.
