Profile Graduates: Looking Past Groups And ‘Us vs Them’

In today’s divided world, Thomas Oliver, class president of the Profile School Class of 2019, had some advice for his 33 fellow graduates — the first senior class at Profile to be born entirely in the 21st century — after they took the stage for their graduation Friday.

Being born after the turn of the millennium doesn’t mean the Class of 2019 is going out into a world much different than the one last year’s graduates are entering, but symbolically the fact is significant, he said.
