Two Cited For Allegedly Possessing Stolen Truck

Richard Olmstead

Richard Olmstead, a 46-year-old Fairlee resident, and Rose Thompson, 53, of Topsham, were cited for allegedly driving a stolen truck Aug. 12. Around 8:35 a.m., Vermont State Police said they stopped Olmstead and Thompson and subsequently learned the truck they were driving did not belong to them. Police said the truck was reported stolen from Lebanon, N.H. on Aug. 8.

After Thompson and Olmstead allegedly refused to speak further on the incident, police said they learned Olmstead was in violation of conditions.
