A Sad State Of Affairs

To the Editor:

Governor Scott has a couple of problems with his gun laws. Generally, new policies and laws should not be made based on emotions. Senate judiciary chair Dick Sears made that point just the other day. Governor Scott does not understand the second amendment. It is not about hunting. The Vermont constitution has separate articles about hunting and defense. The sad state of affairs is that he may still be the best choice for governor since the other side pretty much offers a teenager and a guy who is confused about where he is supposed to pee.
