Efficiency Vermont?

To the Editor:

Recently I received a letter addressed to my wife from Efficiency Vt. offering her new appliances, LED light bulbs, at no cost, and maybe even a heat pump for heat and hot water if her average monthly electric bill is over $125. I kind of wonder after reading David Snedeker’s editorial how efficient the program really is, or how many of our tax dollars are being wasted (rip off) or bilked from Montpelier for this program? If they have a name list that they are using to get our tax dollars for their program, it needs some serious updating, as my wife passed away three and a half years ago. I don’t really think she need any free appliances in heaven.
