Climate change is a hoax. It's not a hoax. Climate warming is happening. It's not happening. The seas are rising. They are not. The glaciers are melting. They are coming back. The hockey stick is hokum. The hockey stick is real. They are. They're not. Yeh! Yeh! The lists and arguments seem endless. What and whom to believe? I'm confused!
One has to remain a skeptic amid all of this hullabaloo. All I know is that some 13,950 peer-reviewed articles (1991-2004) supporting climate change have been published as opposed to 24 articles rejecting the claim. I'm confused!
Various surveys of climate and earth scientists on global warming (2008-2010) show an average of 90% pro and 4% con. Some 57 global scientific groups (physicists, climatologists, related geological organizations) are pro as are 33 science academies from various countries.
This paper says it's a hoax. I can't imagine getting that many independent scientists to agree to such a scam without someone spilling the beans. Scientists, by nature, are not that organized. I'm confused!
Reports say that the 10 warmest years on record have occurred in the last 12 years. A graph in National Geographic illustrates a warming trend for two decades. Others say it's not happening. I'm confused!
Could statistical and graphical legerdemain on both sides make it nearly impossible to settle the discussion soon? Could the hoax mongers be the scam? I'm confused!
