Marcotte a good choice

We have known Michael and his family for many years since moving to Newport in 1955. His whole life has been spent in this area.

Michael and his wife, Danielle, own and operate the Jimmy Kwik Store. Michael is no stranger to hard work and long hours. He has dealt with the public in many capacities. He has helped with youth sports when his boys were involved and he has served Coventry as a selectman for many years and serves the board of selectmen as chairman.

He has served on many committees in the local Elks Lodge, served as a chair officer, and now is a past exalted ruler of the Newport Elks Lodge.

On the Vermont Elks level, Michael served on the Silver Towers Camp Committee and was the chairman of that committee for several years. Michael was also the district deputy, Vermont North, in charge of the six northern Vermont Elks Lodges for the National Elks.

Our experience with Michael is that he is always honest, dependable, cool-headed, a good listener and can express himself very well.

We feel Michael would represent our area of Vermont very capably.

A vote of Michael would certainly be a good choice. Please remember to vote the Republican ballot on Sept. 14 for Michael Marcotte.
