Racism Started It

To the Editor:

…until he [Stoddard] started it? When someone is being provocative, seems like they started it, even though this coward with the tattoo chose a passive aggressive way to exhibit his hate and inspired the confrontation? Hate speech is not protected by the constitution and neither is lying about it. Nobody tattoos hate symbols on themselves without knowing what they mean. Get real, people, increasing community anxiety by allowing such behavior is unsafe at best and promotes violence at worst. Thank Mr. Stoddard for stepping out and exposing the hate in the NEK, then check your own reaction to it and get some education on racism and white supremacy if needed.
