ABRAHAM LINCOLN VISITS GILMAN SCHOOL -- Gilman Middle School celebrated Author/Character Day recently. Sporting his top hat and "tails," the 16th president of the United States spent the day in Gilman. As the author of the "Gettysburg Address," Abraham Lincoln lent a distinguished air to the atmosphere among the middle schoolers. Impersonated by Cole Brown, a seventh grader, Abe was a fun addition.
