DURHAM, NC and WAYNE, PA -- Clarkston Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, has announced that it will bestow a $10,000 Clarkston Scholars Award to one eligible undergraduate student focusing in a Life Sciences related field of study. The Clarkston Scholars Program (CSP) will provide one sophomore, attending a four-year college or university undergraduate program a $10,000 scholarship award, ($5,000 per year for 2 years), along with exposure to the Life Sciences industry through mentoring with Clarkston Consulting and in partnership with Pennsylvania Bio over the course of the two-year scholarship award period.

With the support of an expert industry panel, Clarkston Consulting is excited to find the best and brightest future leaders within Pennsylvania Life Sciences. According to managing partner, Paul Garrison, "This scholarship is not only about the financial support of future industry leaders, but also the opportunity for these future leaders to become more involved in the industry today. We are able to provide them exposure to Clarkston's life sciences leadership team and networking opportunities through the Pennsylvania Bio organization."

The recipient will be awarded the scholarship at the Pennsylvania Bio Annual Dinner to take place in March, 2012. The Clarkston Scholars Program has begun to accept applications for the 2012 award from those who meet the minimum requirements.
