Danville High School Alumni Association's annual banquet is scheduled for Saturday, June 2. The event will be held in the gymnasium and feature new and "old" ties to Danville High School. Yearbooks and other memorabilia from Danville High School and Phillips Academy will on display.

Brand new to the banquet this year is a Silent Auction. Over 100 businesses have donated items to the auction. Even if you can't make the banquet, stop by and bid on a silent auction item. The gym will be open from noon to 3:30 p.m. for walk-in bidding. The organization is hoping to raise sufficient funds from the auction to keep the association active and offer more awards to Danville High School seniors.

The organization is now sending newsletters or E newsletters twice a year instead of a traditional spring mailing. If you have not received your newsletter or E newsletter by now, contact someone on the board, or visit our website at www.danvillealumni.org.

Social hour for the banquet begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 6, and then a meal prepared by Danville's Washburn Mason Lodge. Everyone, alumni and Danville residents are encouraged to attend. Reservations are requested by May 19. Call Dianne Gadapee, 684-3323, or Susan Tallman, 684-3836.
