The Newspaper Association of America (NAA) Foundation is seeking teachers, curriculum specialists, media center coordinators, school librarians and other educational professionals who are interested in developing and delivering presentations on their newspaper instructional practices for local, regional and national education gatherings.

Fellowships to cover workshop or conference-related expenses, including travel, are available for up to 10 U.S. educators.

Educators should submit a letter of interest that includes: the intended educational audience/event; the event proposal submission deadline; the subject/grade level; a title and a brief session/workshop description. Letters will be accepted and eligible until Oct. 31, 2011.

NAA's goal is for recipients to represent a range of grade levels, disciplines and regions. Educators should submit letters of interest by no later than Oct. 31, 2011 to: Teacher Fellowship Program, c/o NAA Foundation, 4401 Wilson Blvd., Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22203.
