HONORING VETERANS ON PEARL HARBOR DAY -- A group of North Country Union High School DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) students participated with other community members to honor veterans by placing wreaths on their memorials on Dec. 7, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. One of the guiding principles of DECA is to make connections with community members. This annual event, hosted by Spates the Florist in Newport, provided just the opportunity. Participating students include, from left, Taryn Driver, Troy Dane and Missy Morse.
