Thanks to generous support from members and friends, Northeast Kingdom Audubon has been able to send a 22 students, ages 10-15, to the Acadia Institute of Oceanography in Seal Harbor, Maine for one- and two-week sessions, over the past five summers.

This Tuesday, Nov. 12, the four winning applicants for the 2013 Airie Lindsay Camp Scholarship program will be giving presentations of their experiences learning about marine ecosystems, while having fun and making new friends with similar interests in nature.

The event takes place at the Fairbanks Museum at 4 p.m. All are encourage to come and hear the students' reports and be inspired to help send future campers. Bring friends and relatives, especially those with budding scientists who might want to apply for the next scholarships. Light refreshments will be provided.
