Riverside School To Hold Annual Auction

  • 0

Parents, faculty, and students at the Riverside School in Lyndonville have been working hard to get ready for the school's annual auction, and the big evening is almost upon us. On the first Saturday in February, the school community will welcome the community at large to the new MAC room at Lyndon Institute for an evening of mingling, hors d'oeuvres and bidding on an array of donations from area businesses and the school community.

A wide variety of interesting lots up for bid include a week's stay in Martha's Vineyard, a cord of firewood split and delivered, and a handmade electric guitar by MaxB Guitars (www.maxbguitars.com).

This auction will be larger than ever before, as the school has expanded this year by adding a K-1 classroom and most of the classes up through eighth grade are at or nearing full capacity. The Riverside School's annual auction as an opportunity to showcase local businesses while having a good time and raising money to support the school's mission of developing active learners, patient leaders and engaged citizens in the Northeast Kingdom. For a complete listing of the auction catalog, call (802) 626-8552.
