UCA Student And Faculty Participate In 'See You At The Pole'

NEWPORT -- "See You at the Pole" was started in 1990 and is a global initiative to have students gather around the flagpole at their schools one day per year to unite in prayer for their school, friends, families, churches and communities. United Christian Academy held their "See You at the Pole" event on Sept. 24, with the entire student body participating. Prayers were heard from upper school students, lower school students, and faculty.

UCA will hold an Open House Tuesday, Oct. 7, beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at the Kuniholm Education Center at 338 Main St., Newport. Recognition of volunteers will be at 6 in the UCA auditorium, with the Open House immediately following. Light refreshments will be provided.
