The Lake Monsters and Blue Mountain Union School want to recognize students by rewarding them for their outstanding achievements. This program is set up to recognize, honor, and encourage the youth of Vermont.

The Outstanding Student Program is set to reward students for academic achievements, including perfect attendance, a spectacular display of determination, stellar academics or other disciplines. The students that are selected get the opportunity to come onto the field before a Lake Monsters baseball game and receive recognition for their achievements.

This year's Lake Monster/Blue Mountain Outstanding Students are: Kindergarten, Will Eaton, Will Emerson and Miles Stroup; Grade 1, Jordan Alley and Takiya Saibou; Grade 2, Samantha Punderson and Avery Nelson; Grade 3, Alyssa Crown and Emma Dennis; Grade 4, Andrew Hoang and Leanna Santiago; Grade 5, Trinity LeHaye and Antonia Munson; Grade 6, Annie Dennis and John George; Grade 7, Bryannah Heywood and Devyn Nelson; and Grade 8, Alex Crown and Lily Colby.
