BERLIN, NH -- White Mountains Community College recently announced its first WMCC Creator Camp. Creator camp is designed for students entering grades 9 through 11 and provides students an opportunity be creative by designing and building their own "product."

Throughout the week-long camp students will learn CAD design and product fabrication. They will operate a CNC Plasma Table, weld, and learn to use other equipment. They will also go on a tour to see Advanced Manufacturing in action while they hear from people who have turned their passion into a business. Students will create and have fun and then apply some basic entrepreneurship principles to understand how a single creative idea can become a thriving business.

Creator Camp will take place July 20-24, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration materials and information can be obtained on the White Mountains Community College website at www.wmcc.edu, or by contacting Tamara Roberge, project manager, by email at troberge@ccsnh.edu or by phone (603) 342-3062.
