In support of Kevin Oddy

To the Editor:

Kevin Oddy has announced his candidacy for a one-year term to the select board. Kevin is a solid citizen; he has served on the St. Johnsbury Board of Civil Authority for four years, has assisted with voting for the past 15 years, serves on the town's development review board, and has served on the town planning commission. He is now a legal program administrator and investigator for the state agency of transportation under the direction of the attorney general's office. Previously Kevin had worked in the Vermont Department of Corrections for over 24 years.

I know Kevin will bring a constant civility to the select board. He is thoughtful and articulate, and I am pleased Kevin has announced his candidacy. If you are disenchanted with the tone of the select board, as I am, voting for Kevin will be a step in the right direction in restoring civility. We will also be putting an extremely capable person on the board. Please join me in voting for Kevin Oddy for the select board.
